INTRODUCTION:

All my professional experience has taught me to be a result-oriented person who finishes tasks before deadlines. For all that I have developed a proactive personality, I try to foresee the solutions and implement them as soon as possible. 

At HUE INDOORS, I have inculcated a decision-making mindset to work in the company. I always try to present new initiatives for the company to my employer and seniors. 

SKILLS:

I have a full grasp of reading drawings and good experience in quantity takeoff, cost estimation and project scheduling. I can execute and supervise the work on-site and have the ability to manage the team and act as a team leader.  

MY EXPERIENCE AT HUE INDOORS PVT LTD:

At HUE INDOORS PVT LTD, I am the head of Procurement Department. My job responsibilities are to keep an eye on Tender Notices and apply for projects that match the company's profile. I am involved in the whole process of acquiring the projects from the publishing of Tenders Notices to the completion of projects.

The main steps in which I get involved are:

1. Finding the Tender Notices that matches the company's PEC codes and expertise.


2. Acquiring the Tender Documents.


3. Preparation of Technical and Financial Bids.


4. Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation.


5. Visiting the site for finding the quantities and estimating costs.


6. Departmental Talks with PWD, CDA, or public/private clients.


7. Planning and scheduling of projects.


8. Supervising and taking part in project execution.


9. Proactive decision-making during the whole process of procurement.


10. Analytical problem-solving.

During the preparation of Technical Bid, I have to do Quantity Takeoff & Cost Estimation and for this purpose, I have to prepare the Rate Analysis sheet so as to estimate the exact cost. 

I visited different departments such as PWD, CDA, etc as the representative of the company and negotiated and acted on the behalf of my company. During all this process I have developed social and verbal communication skills.

In addition to that, I have developed a decision-making mindset while working at HUE INDOORS PVT LTD. Since my immediate boss and CEO had entrusted the whole department of Civil Engineering to me, I have to do the decisions myself. In all this process, I have developed a proactive approach to deal with the problems.

I complete my work and show the results to my employer. He was always happy when I presented him with the results.
